With only five months until the primary I'm surprised
how quiet this has been

Without getting into any flaming or ranting what do you
think are the TOP ISSUES facing the next Arizona Governor

Plus any CONSTRUCTIVE IDEAS for the people running

I'll be looking forward to everyone's comments

It is looking like Arpaio is going to run.

Arizona's voters don't like Goddards stance on illegals.

They like Arpaios.

And illegal immigration is one of the biggest issues this year - not the only issue, but one of the biggest

We need somebody who is fiscally conservative, tough on crime & illegals, but more Libertarian on social issues. The main focus right now should be the budget ... not trivial matters such as adoption, abortion, marriage, or divorce issues. With that in mind, there's not one person running so far who I prefer. All politicians are corrupt as far as I'm concerned, and they all have their own personal agenda which they try to force through.

True about the illegal immigration issue ... but that's why we need Arpaio to remain as MC Sheriff, and not run as Governor. The majority of people like him where he is, and his speciality is law enforcement ... not state politics.

"What do you think are the TOP ISSUES facing the next Arizona Governor"

The state budget/economy and illegal immigrants.
The governor that can fix those two problems will have a bronze statue in ever city park and be remembered for generations.

I'm not holding my breath.

Sheriff Arpaio IS tough on the immigration issue. BUT, he can only do limited things and ONLY in Maricopa County.

IF he were elected Governor, he could expand his programs Statewide INCLUDING putting the National Guard, with loaded weapons, on the border. He is on record strongly supporting having the Guard on the border.

If he runs, I know MANY who will come out and support him - myself included.

If all this is true, I have no doubt the Mexican nationals would assassinate (or at least try) him. He would have more people after him than even Obama.

Budget is the #1 issue, IMHO. It's a huge mess right now.

Buz Mills seems like an interesting candidate.

By supporting the largest tax increase in AZ history, Jan Brewer is ending her political career.
