This is for anyone who knows of any proposed or planned them parks in Arizona. I know about the Decades Theme Park in Eloy, is it to be built? I haven't heard much of it. Or what about Waveyard? Or the theme park being built up in Williams? Comment any information you know of any theme parks being planned in Arizona.

I believe Decades was scrapped due to funding and water issues.

As for waveyard, they have the land set aside in Mesa, they just need the money now.

Looks like Castle N Coasters is the only theme park, and we all know how great that place is!

That's not true. This is just your assumption. The fact is there have been no reports of the Decades theme park being scrapped. Like Waveyard, the Decades theme park is waiting for the economy to improve before they undergo a major project like this so these projects won't even be entertained until 2012 or so.

First of all, I never claimed it as fact, I clearly said "I believe".

They don't have land set aside or nearly the amount of work that Waveyard has done in half the time.

Decades is a joke, it won't work, no one wants to go to a theme park with no thrill rides.

And for the record, I don't think Waveyard will be open anytime either.

Actually, just today they announced they're almost out of the bankruptcy, they reached an agreement with their creditors.

Six Flags has been highly profitable over the last year, despite the filing for bankruptcy. And what exactly does Six Flags have to do with anything here?

The City of Eloy stated awhile back that they have not heard a word from the developers/owners on the Decades project since Jan 2009.
Same scenario for the theme park in williams, no word since 2008.
