Hello everyone, I just turned 20yrs old and im currently looking for a second job here in the Detroit or Livonia area. Ive always planed on moving out of MI to the Arizona or Nevada area but I may be leaving sooner that I thought. As I get older it feels like im wasting time here. Im interested in auto tuning performance and motorsports and for the past month I have been looking into the UTI institute in Avondale, AZ. I have a couple of questions for Avondale residents. If I do move I plan on using the schools housing program. Viewing the information they gave I should be able to find a studio apartment with a monthly rate of 500- 600 in the Avondale area. Does this seem right? Also I was curious about job salaries there compared to here in Michigan. Does the immagration issue have an affect on employers pay rates?

phoenix craigslist > apts/housing for rent: search for "avondale "

Yes, $500-600 seems right for Avondale for a studio. Check out the above link to see what Avondale will cost you if you decide to not use the school's housing program.

For salaries - you will have to do a little research on that in the exact area of interest that you desire. Perhaps you can check out the job/careers section of our newspaper online to determine this.

The salaries out here fit well with our cost of living. Employment out here is fruitful. The immigration issues do not affect one's hourly/salary. Well, unless you possibly decide to be a Landscaper.

Best of luck to you.
