So I'm reviewing a potential job offer to work in Lake Havasu, AZ. I'm having trouble finding where people that work there actually live at. Any information people can provide is most appreciated.

Where do people who work in Lake Havasu City actually live? Why in Lake Havasu City of course, with the rest of the 50,000 people who live there.

Click here for an aerial view. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...30634&t=h&z=13

Zoom in, using the plus icon. You're looking at tens of thousands of homes.

I guess I always thought of it more as a resort town with mostly hospitality industry workers living and working there. I'm browsing Craigslist right now looking for condos and rental homes available to rent in Mojave County. Real estate prices are a bit of my range there right now. Any other good links to rental properties there? Preferrably not RV lots.

You should be able to find something in your price range there.

Closest town otherwise would be Needles, CA, about 45 minutes to an hour away depending on where in Havasu you're working.

Glad to help, and good luck! Havasu would be a fun place to live if you can swing it.

Some of the work force live in Golden Shores plus there is a sub division North of Havasu. I think it is called Desert Hills but don't hold me to it.

Desert Hills is out behind the new mall roughly. Then there's Havasu Heights which is 5 miles before you get out to I40. You're right, one could live at either of those, or at Golden Shores for that matter (or as I like to call it, Golden Showers. )
