I am currently writing my memoirs and need some information that has escaped my memory.

What was the population of Coolidge in 1944? I lived on Seagoe Avenue so what grade school would I have gone to? I see there is a McCray Junior High School. Was this named after Hortense MaCray who was a principal when I was in school? Is Ivan's Tavern still in existence on Main Street? One of my favorite classmates was Yvonne Jones, his daughter. What was the name of the Western days parade and celebration? My mother had a float in one of the parades from her beauty shop. I tasted barbecued bison at one of these events. This is all I can think of for now. Appreciate any feedback you can give.

My dad taught Spanish in Coolidge 1952-54? His name was Dean Curry. I went to Kenilworth School for first grade, as I remember.
