Looking at possible move from Florida to Arizona. I have some health problems (trouble breathing) and wonder where the best medical facilities are located in Arizona? Would like a low crime area also.

Metropolitan Phoenix and Tucson have the best hospitals. There are many low crime areas in which to live in both places.

Yep - observer had it right. Budget and distance from those facilities will be your next factors in helping you decide where to go...

They should be less, as taxes here are based on an assessed value that is nowhere near the same as what the house would sell for. We have state income tax here, which you don't in FL.

Are you asking about property tax or income tax?

(We're getting into a separate topic from the thread title, so the tax issue will get moved into its own thread soon)
