Here's another photo of The 66 Cafe & Bar with slightly different angle.

Can watch the entire movie for more details on YouTube:

This is a picture looking South on 4th Street and Old trails heads west.

Then we are heading west on Old Trails

Here is a closer look at 4th heading South and Old trails crossing the bridge

Based on the Roadhouse 66 photos and yours of Old Trails, the street layouts are completely different.

Am thinking that The 66 Cafe & Bar might not have been located in Kingman. Key, to me, is finding the
straight side street with road crossing it and curving to the left as it goes uphill. Hope it's not a wild
goose chase. :-/

I'm sure rambrush's second of his three pictures IDs this as the correct spot....note the dark rock formations a ways in the background in the movie shot and in rambrush's second shot.....I think the fictional cafe was on, or very, very near, the spot that now houses that building with dark panels across the corner of it closest to the viewer....and the road dips and then rises beyond just as in the movie view....I'm sure this is the correct spot

thanks, rambrush, for going down there and getting these shots.....

Agreed and look at that electric pole in the middle of both pics: there's a house or double wide trailer with its end just to the left of that pole.

Well connected with another friend,he lives on 4th st that used to be a service station. You all have it narrowed down. Second picture behind street sign. It burned down in late 80's early 90's.

BTW, a belated thank you rambrush for all the research and photos you took the time to do about The 66 Cafe & Bar as it was very much appreciated! All too many historical or sentimental mom and pop joints have burned down over the years. Sometimes the new zoning and coding laws make it too cost prohibitive to rebuild when budget constraints are involved.
