Funny how you never hear our "self-sufficient" or "libertarians" or "anti-federal government" complain on how much money we make off of (typically Democrat-leaning) states to fund our budget. Arizona ranks 8th most dependent on federal money and the 10 most dependent are almost all Red states. The Top ten donor states are mostly Blue. So next time you meet a Democrat from another state or in the Federal government, be at least polite enough and thank him/her for their continued support for Arizona.

"Yawn". Nothing new to see here from the most anti-Arizonan poster on the site. Besides, didn't you already post this in another thread?

Moving on . . . . . .

I was thinking the same.

The OP might be better suited in Ca or liberal east coast.

Well the OP doesn't disclose its location, so we will never know . . . .

Eh, that study proves little. Kansas is one of the least dependent on federal money and it's a very red state. Colorado falls as number 10 as being least dependent. It's a purple state and if you know it's second largest city/ most populated county (Colorado Springs/El Paso County), it's estimated that 40% of the economy of El Paso County is based on the military installations. Skewed data, to be sure.

I glanced at the link but I need help with it. Does the money we receive relate to the amount federal employees or federally owned locations like air force bases and national parks? Does AZ just ask for money to fix roads and what not because we can't raise it on our own?

Eh, par for the course for the OP. Nothing but complaints and assumptions. Nice that he/she decides to lump in libertarians and Libertarians with the GOP rank-and-file and completely discounting what philosophical write and say. Not a shocker to see such drivel.

Since you mention hypocrisy, what happened to all of the anti-war Democrats and liberals? Works both ways and as a native of a "blue" state, I can tell you the hypocrisy runs just as deep with other issues.

Spot on. This guy seems to post variations of the same negative spin in at least a few of the forums.
