What are the Halloween traditions in Arizona? What towns in Arizona have a creepy or haunted vibe?
Following Halloween is Dia de los Muertos. What places in Arizona carry that tradition? Photos welcomed.

Tucson has the All Souls Procession: The 2014 All Souls Procession Weekend-Nov. 8-9, 2014

Jerome is supposed to have a few good haunted spots: The Ghosts of Jerome, Arizona- Spook Hall and Mile High Inn

Sedona has some areas which, depending on your viewpoint may be 1) spooky, 2) spiritual or 3) a tourist attraction: Mystical Sedona, Arizona!

Superior has a lot of ghost stories, but most famously they have the lost dutchman's mine, which is rumored to be cursed and also rumored to not actually exist.

Some folks like to say that some of the old copper miners in Bisbee have overstayed their welcome.

Etcetera ... it was a rough place to live for quite a while, and the stuff of ghost stories probably happened pretty regularly back in the day. The All Souls Procession in Tucson is awesome, though, really worth checking out.

Tucson's tops for Dia del Muerte. I'm not sure if they stop by El Tiradito shrine but that's creepy all year (to me). Phoenix has some good tales of hauntings downtown. Jerome has some like Baja was saying. There's an old ghost story about a skeleton with a lantern in it's rib cage walking around the Superstitions. Oh, and my dad's old house in Moon Valley.

On the Dia de Muerte I traditionally like to cook the left over children who come looking for candy on Halloween. Aaaahahahahaha....

Witch in obligatory black robe and pointy hat sets up her booth at her town's Farmers Market.
Builds her fire, fills the cauldron, and starts stirring.
Sign by her cash box says ... "I only use local children."

Mwa-ha-ha-ha!

Just landed on this link. I've been to Dia de los Muertos events/parades in Albuquerque, they were pretty interesting, I'd imagine Tucson perhaps having a better one. I hadn't realized Phoenix has events too.
