I have to agree with KDOG wondering this is actually happening in Kingman?

I would bet that it is the older areas of Kingman they're talking about for house thefts.

The second bridge across the river is in the core drill stage to determine how deep and type of bridge supports. Nevada says summer of 2017 for the earliest start on the actual bridge construction. no one on these threads has mentioned the 1000 ft. extension of the airport runway to 8.500 feet which was just completed and the electrical improvements are all that is left or that American Airlines will start scheduled service from Phoenix Feb 16 2017. the city approved the incentives for dot foods to put a 167,000 sq. ft. distribution center and 10.000 sq. ft. truck repair facility in the air park. Walmart supercenter in FT Mohave is on track for its Feb 2017 opening. there are many other ongoing projects in the area. So Bullhead City is improving.

It's not really American it's their feeder, Envoy flying RJs to and fro PHX. I am a little doubtful this will survive but hopeful since it will save me money and time flying back east 4 times a year and sometimes more. I am not sure why they didn't try some of the California destinations which would make more sense but I am sure they will watch the loads and go from there. Allegiant is also using their A319s for the Casino charters since their older planes are quite frankly becoming so old many are afraid to fly them. I hope they stay since Republic was a disaster.

Harbor Freight would do good in that spot and should thrive and since we have a president elect that understands how the economy works we should see property value increase the next 8 years.

I would say there is an improvement in the two years since I first made this thread.

We are still vulnerable waterwise - if the river dries up, so goes the town. And if gas goes back to $5 a gal say bye to tourists.

But scheduled air service to Phoenix is starting. We will see if it sustains. It is govt subsidized.

Not seeing the growth of the 90's - 2000's, but some recovery for sure.
