Here Is the Growing List of States That Have Vowed Not to Take Syrian Refugees | Mediaite

I like the USA it puts it's citizens first. Unlike that spineless twerp PM we have in Canuckistan.

Arizona is actually refusing to take ANY new refugees. This will reflect poorly on the state, but what else is new? It's a reactionary measure that does nothing to keep us "safe." If someone wants to carry out a terror attack here, they will do it. It's sad that so many descendants of Europeans who basically came here as refugees from war and famine are so supportive of this. So much for Christian values and treating everyone equally. We are not putting citizens first. Our kids will still be shortchanged by the legislature on education, the poor and hungry in this state will still be poor and hungry tomorrow, and our homeless veterans whom we proclaim to have so much respect for will still be out on the streets tomorrow. Sad, but not unexpected.

Good for him! It reflects well on Arizona and the other states that have done so and is a sad commentary on the present occupant of the WH and the administrations policies.

Considering all of the Terror and Terrorists originating in that part of the world this should be considered a "No Brainer". Don't we have more than our fair share of Nutcases here already.

I sincerely believe that many of our leaders (using that term loosely) in Washington have an agenda aimed at destroying this country . . . NOT preserving or protecting it.

Like we care what the rest of the country thinks, see SB 1070, SB 1062,

Arizona for Arizonans.

I support No refugees, this includes anti-gun liberals from the Peoples Republic of Kommiefornia.

They are welcome to come visit and spend money though.

Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do. This isn't a bad decision so long as we don't formally publicize it in an embarrassing fashion.

I can't support taking in any new refugees until we take care of the people who are already here. And our immigration system is in no way equipped to filter out jihadis, so taking refugees is akin to courting disaster.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. The world supports you in your decision...the world that matters.
