Anybody with some info. Looks like a very quiet place. Homes are real cheap.
Never been there, it is a bit out the way.

Seen the cheap homes while looking for a place in Benson, maybe Tuscon. Next year I will make the move to se AZ. Tuscon has some good deals far west, but where ever I move too, it must be walk able for me and my little girl in her wheelchair.

Love the Green Valley area where all the small white houses are. Good deals to be had, but the HOA is $180.00 a month, that is a bit much. But maybe someone with good experiences out there. I know the area, is is great.
The swimming pool would be perfect, and it is nice place to walk around.

San Manuel is a "company town" built in the 1950s as housing for the employees/families of the nearby copper mine....

that's all done now and SM remains a very, very quiet, mostly-retirement place for those who can entertain themselves and don't need action.....I don't know how old your "little girl" is, but consider it's fairly remote.....

definitely gotta look all around the region and figure out what will work for both of you....good luck and stay in touch here on the board

Thank you.
Benson has been on my mind for many years, it just feels right. Not big, ot to small and plenty to see around it. I love nature, like most people, and the quiet places. Thought about Willcox, but for some reason the homes, the better homes, are expensive. Love the town though.

Retirement community has it's pro, but also it's cons. Some elderly people got way to much time on their hands and complain about totally everything.
My little girl, really me wife grand daughter wil be in a group home and I just go there constantly and take her home all the days she is allowed. 60 days. She did go with me on many trips in a semi, seen the US coast to coast. All she wants is a swimming pool, and Benson has a community pool.
I worked day and night, but the heart had other ideas... now I have an ICD implanted and the working days are over. Get disability check and I am going to enjoy the years that are left...............
I am ready.
