I've followed some pretty good threads on here regarding solar and wonder if i could impose on you more knowledgeable than i am (wouldn't take much). We have solar on the house now, but are looking to add it to a home we will downsize to in the coming years (we do seasonal rentals now).

As we shop around for solar, I am seeing and reading tons of information regarding string inverters (the norm) and what appears to be another option, microinverters. I know the difference (kind of) so what i am looking for is first hand experiences.

All opinions appreciated.

Could a mod move this to the AZ thread please. I think that's where all the solar discussion was.

Thanks

You might look over this page: https://www.energysage.com/solar/101...wer-optimizers

I have very little recent "solar" knowledge.

Check out this months Consumers Reports, (Just got it a few days ago, red cover, an interesting current read).
