I voted for Hillary and hope she wins. My primary reasons for voting for Hillary is two fold. I think Arizona will benefit from being marketed as a blue state from a business perspective. It makes our state look more tolerant and welcoming to entrepreneurs and executives from the coasts who are socially liberal. I think more business will relocate here instead of thinking we are a Mississippi of the West. And I don't like what Trump stands for in terms of intolerance and lack of respect for all types of people (the disabled, women, minorities).

In the last few weeks, I would have said Clinton will win. However, with the polls showing the race is tighter, I'm not so sure now.

I think it will depend largely on the Hispanic vote. In the past, Hispanics have demonstrated a lot of apathy in terms of voting. Even Jan Brewer admitted as much recently when she insinuated Hispanics are not politically active in Arizona.

It's going to be interesting and fun to watch. I feel like it is a toss up. What do you think will happen?

Clinton is going to win. That much I'm sure of. But the question is will she win Arizona. That I'm not sure of.

She's probably not going to win AZ and if she gets elected, even the Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson says she could get impeached. For that info, I didn't vote for Trump or Clinton. They're both garbage.

There are many more negatives than there are positives to Arizona becoming a blue state. Let's hope that doesn't happen any time soon.

While I didn't support Trump in the primary I did vote for him in the general as I can't imagine how anyone could cast a vote for someone as corrupt as Clinton is. Similar to the liberals electing Jessie Jackson Jr. and Marion Berry to office after their corruption was known about.

Trump is far from perfect, however, Clinton is a criminal. Says a lot about this country when we have people willing to vote for someone of her character/track record for the highest office in the country.

From a Democratic perspective - Lets turn every state into a blue one where only the elite, educated, big business, illegal immigrants can live. To hell with everyone else such as the blue collared, middle America, small business owner, rural, individualism and law abiding citizens.

Import people from different countries by voting Democratic, which turns the US into a 3rd world country where the rich and the poor can only exist. That's their transformation goal.

Well said, pretty much how I feel about Trump. I was supporting Ted Cruz during the primary but will vote for Trump on Nov 8, he at least has some conservative values and will handle supreme court appointments much better than Hillary. I currently live in a corrupt Blue state which uses public unions to support all the Democrats, would hate to see AZ go in that direction.

I don't think Clinton will win Arizona because it's too redneck for that to happen. Oh wait, the preferred euphemism is "libertarian" (which Arizona is not). Even if it went blue, it's doubtful that would be a lasting thing. If it goes blue, it won't help Arizona from a marketing standpoint, because local politicians still won't do anything to make this place livable for people who have real ambition and goals.

I'd like to see Arizona become more libertarian like Montana or Alaska. Sell off more Federal land to private developers, legalize marijuana, legalize casinos statewide (besides on Indian reservations), abolish the income tax.

AZ land is currently owned by 38.6% from the government.

Here

I don't think it will be libertarian because of the population base, and people here generally support socially conservative measures. Had no courts been involved, I would guarantee same-sex marriage would still be illegal here, and I'm not confident recreational marijuana will pass. I think if someone were to run on a strictly libertarian platform on the local level, they would lose to a social conservative because it's how people are in this state.

She is not a criminal. That is your opinion. There are no FACTS to prove she is a criminal. However, Trump has ridiculed a handicapped person. He insulted parents of a slain soldier. He accused a Federal judge of failing to do his job because of his race. He has been implicated in multiple lawsuits for failure to pay for contracted work. He has been accused of cheating on two previous wives. Those are facts.

If anything, this election is a reflection of our country's values. Our country has changed. That may or may not be a bad thing. In some ways, I see it as a positive development. People are placing the issues at the forefront and could care less about a person's character or image. You could also argue it's a bad thing in that our country no longer values character and leadership.

That being said, I think you could be right. Trump will probably win Arizona unless the local Hispanic community is active at the polls
