My wife and I are in our mid fifties. She is legally blind and has issues with arthritis through out her body. She has recently retired. I have mobility issues due to injuries to one of my legs and would like to retire in a couple years. We are life long residents of Minnesota, however due to our issues -we would like to spend our winters in a warmer and drier climate. We visited AZ a couple years ago. We spent time visiting the Grand Canyon, around Gilbert and Apache Junction. We would like to explore options to spend our winters in AZ with no snow nor cold weather. Phx is too busy for us but, do not want to be in a trailer park with people well beyond us in years old. Any suggestions where we should look. We come from Rochester, MN a town of a little over 100k people. Would not like to go too small but, not as metro as being in the hub of PHX.

Pinal County, Tucson, or Yuma is where I'd start.

Wickenburg

The drive from there to the NW Valley is like a drive up Hy 52
