A ranger rained on my parade a few winters ago when I had hoped to see some pronghorn antelope at the Agua Prieta NWR and he told me that the only thing he'd seen lately is an undocumented immigrant from MX. (He gave the story about how he provided water and had him picked up, which was sad as well) but anyhow, birdwatching is great, but just no antelope. I checked the logbook at it had apparently been a month since they'd been seen by any visitors? How is anybody supposed to see them if trails into the refuge only go so far? What is ultimately the best time and general place to see them?
