Sierra Vista has a Army Post, Ft. Huachuca, so it is a cross between younger military folks and military retirees. And much more conservative than other locations in Arizona, which is conservative/libertarian by nature. It is 4600 ft, which makes many people feel that it has the best climate in Arizona, and really, anywhere outside of San Diego. When your summer averages are 60 to 90, and your winter is 35-60, those are pretty good numbers to me.

As to the Red Flag law, it is still pending. Arizona is an open carry state.

Default My reply almost a year later!!

Wow ..

So, yeah, BEEN AWAY for a while! … I was trying to reactivate my old MySpace page (and failed), so then I decided to revisit this account. WOW.. so much has happened.

Side note: Covid-19 has thrown EVERYONE for a loop now.

Well, Arizona peeps, I don't know if I will be moving there now. =( … I know... sooo sad. Last Spring/Summer (2019) I was doing calculations and stuff & then realized that I was running across waaaay more obstacles than what I anticipated. …. I even almost came to visit Tucson in July and everything. … But an ex went all crazy on me.. and I ended up losing $300 on a non-refundable plane ticket.

I was okay with visiting Prescott by myself and I did fine then..... but for some reason, I didn't think it was a great idea that I visit Tucson by myself... so...… I had to cut my losses.

=( …. 2020 was another target year to visit... but I was torn between visiting family in other states AND a GRAND opportunity to visit Israel ---- all of this, of course is PRIOR to Covid-19.

Now everything has changed for everyone.

…. I suppose I will remain here in NC for a while. =/ …. But, I cannot complain too much. I have fallen in love with a Godly man, and although we are just friends... and have been on some friendly outings... I think maybe that is why me moving to AZ never happened.

… And now this Covid-19 has totally disrupted our church life... and the BOTH of us are getting slammed at work and other commitments, separately. ……. Maybe this will become a solid foundation for a marriage. Hm....

Anyway, so no moving for me.... not for a while. All my calculations were just not in favor of me moving. … plus, I have gotten to know this man ever since June 2019. =) ….

I am so in love.

Well I'm happy to hear you're in love and that you were able to be honest with yourself after realizing moving across the country didn't look favorable at this time. Moving at the wrong time can be hard to recover from. Besides, you and your new love can always visit Arizona whenever the pandemic subsides. Ironically, we were scheduled to visit friends and family in NC this month but that's on hold until things calm down.
