The 4 to 6 weeks in spring and fall when our weather is just like the weather in Hawaii. I have been to Hawaii over 15 times and if I had the cash that is where I would be writing this from. Maui is where I want to be every day of the year. aloha

My pick is spring. Winter is not warm enough despite general perceptions (we are NOT Southern Florida!), and summer is too hot. As for spring vs. autumn, spring is the time I buy most of my favorite fashions.

I'm surprised there are others who like the foresummer drought besides me to be honest. Despite it being very hot yet very dry, it is the time of year where no rain falls at all in most years. May and June here in the Valley are usually bone-dry. An advantage is that it makes perfect weather for swimming without any concerns of thunder or lightning almost all the time.

( * ) The neatest thing is in AZ, a short drive anytime of
the year you can be in a totally different climate, a few
years back a group of us were off road riding off the I-17
and Table Mesa Rd. and were able to ride in all four seasons
in one day ! one of my buddies who is a native had never
experienced this.
I agree. Spring and early summer are my favorite times of year here in the Valley, before the onset of the monsoon thunderstorms.

I'm from the Valley as well. Foresummer drought is my favorite season. Despite the heat, it is very dry, which helps offer mild relief from it before the monsoon season begins in early July.

We have snow on the ground here in Chicagoland this morning. As always, wish I were there in Tucson in foresummer drought, my favorite season.

I also prefer Spring over Fall since I can generally use my pool starting in April. Even though October is generally warmer than April in the daytime, nights are longer in October, causing the pool to be colder.
