There are some excellent things about Arizona but inclusiveness is not a priority for the state of Arizona.

These lists don't really matter much. There are people who move to the cities that are considered the best and are miserable and there are people who reside in cities in the "worst cities" or "worst states" and have amazingly happy and fulfilling lives.

Arizona likes to rank well on business friendliness, other indicators like public health funding, cohesion, inclusiveness don't matter much to the typical Arizonan.

Those who require a state with high levels of public health funding and with strong inclusiveness and high levels of social cohesion have many states to choose from other than Arizona.

Education, health care, daycare programs, rehabilitation programs will never be a priority for Arizona, nor does it need to be. Those looking for a state that funds public health department and social infrastructure programs have a wide variety of states to choose from.

Arizona is a transient state so naturally it's not going to have the social cohesion of a state like Nebraska, North Dakota, Minnesota that have a high percentage of locals with multi-generational roots.

The health care infrastructure is quite bad. They have some good hospitals in this state, but a vast majority of hospitals are of very low quality compared to other states.

Public health funding is a low priority for Arizona. It is what it is.

Arizona seems a bit more efficient per-capita than a majority of states.

There are public health departments that are funded extremely well with low-level results.

Double post.

But overall, I think it's silly to take thse clickbait lists when evaluating quality of life or moving to a certain city.

There are cities and states that rated terribly but are actually very nice places.

I have been some cities and states that ranked among the lowest in America but were very nice for my personal lifestyle.

I have been in some top rated cities and states that I was not a fan of at all.

This is absolutely true.

I've lived in AZ for 7 years and God willing it won't be for too much longer. Phoenix has the worse pollution and crime. I can't figure out why people are flocking there. The housing/rent prices have sky-rocketed but wages are low. I don't get it.

I can sum it up in a very few words to live in AZ....it's a ****-hole place and a corrupt government running it. Stay away if you care about your health and safety and want a decent education for your kids. It ranks the worse in the US.

I’m assuming you’re from Texas by your name. Take your nasty attitude and go back there. I don’t know what it is but they seem to be the most toxic & whiniest people that move here. If you think Phoenix crime is bad then go look at most other metro areas. Especially in your home state. This is based on data and not on emotions. We’re Pleasantville compared to most major cities.

These lists are mostly clickbait anyways.

I like to think about Arizona as being the “Louisiana” of the West - sans the hurricanes.

I don't like Phoenix or Tucson. But, I love Arizona. Nothing against Phoenix or Tucson, I hate all cities.

I'll tell you who I don't like in this thread -- those who latch onto "lists" that point out good things about Arizona, but then denigrate "lists" that point out bad things about Arizona.
