Default small cities

small cities are called towns or communities.
Under what size do you consider small?

That listing is very interesting, acrylic. I've lived in AZ almost all my life, and never heard of a lot of those places.

nymommy- Many of these places are going to be VERY isolated. Things aren't as close together here as in NY state. Some are in the hot desert, some in higher elevations. Cost of living might be reasonable in some respects, but will be influenced by how far you have to go for certain goods and services, or to find WORK, or any other aspect of life you won't find in a small town.

It all depends on what your situation is, if you are actually thinking about moving to a small Arizona town. That's about all we can tell you, without more specifics.

I agree that it would be isolated. On that list, I visited Jerome. It's an AWESOME place to visit, but its far up there and the only way to get what you need is to drive down to I believe, Clarkdale? It would be quite an inconvenience.

In addition to many of these cities being very remote, a handful on the list are Indian reservations. Unless you are a member of the tribe, you will not be able to live there.

What exactly are you looking for?
