Is it really important to get my windows tinted? I'm just new to Bullhead and where is the best place to do that?? Oh, could anyone lead me to a good dentist?

I live in Gilbert and I think it is important to have your windows tinted. I mean, it makes a BIG difference for the temperature in your car. Not sure how hot it gets in Bullhead City, but if it is really hot there then window tent is definately worth it.

Good luck on the dentist.

Bullhead city is extremely hot, even hotter than Phoenix, with summer highs of over 120 degrees.

Personally, I feel Window Tinting is extremely overrated . . . especially the illegal and very unsafe dark stuff.

Most newer vehicles have glass that restricts a high percentage of UV rays already. If you prefer more, stay within the law or risk being stopped and ticketed at the most inconvenient time.

Good Luck!

It should cost around $200 to professionally (and legally) tint your whole car, and it does provide some benefit. Also, for another $10, you can get a fold-able sun screen for your front windshield, when you park you car somewhere that isn't covered.

Some years back when I lived in Florida I had my windows tinted, and found that it somewhat obscured my vision at night. Maybe the technology is different now.

Just keep it legal and there is no problem. I think it made a big difference after I tinted my car windows, but that is just my opinion.

Good advice, TheGirl . . .

Illegal Tint restricts the view from outside the vehicle giving the Bad Guys privacy to do Bad Stuff in private. Also, it restricts the view from inside the vehicle, especially at night, which is a mega-safety hazard.

Another point to consider . . . why draw attention to your vehicle and give the police justification to stop and cite you for other violations?

Once again . . . NOT WORTH THE RISK.

plenty of places to get a legal and quality tint job - my wife and I both paid around $200 and it's made a huge difference

my wife did hers right away, along with a dashmat to help cut glare

i waited a couple years for mine and wish I did it sooner

even at the legal level it's an adjustment at night - but doesn't take too long to adjust to
