Yeah, the steaks are out of this world. I've been to the one in DC as well(all run by the same celebrity chef) and the food was just as fantastic, even if the menu was different. Basically this place blows all the other upper-crust steakhouses such as Morton's and Donovan's out of the water.

I completely disagree on bourbon steak for the actual meat

unless you buy up to the american kobe or splurge for the wagyu then you can definitely do better

It's probably the worst steak i've had at any of the upper end valley steak houses

In fact I ate at the arrowhead grill a couple weeks after bourbon steak and the steak itself wasn't even close .... same with my wife

She liked her arrowhead delmonico more than the bourbon filet and I liked my arrowhead KC Strip more than the bourbon NY Strip

The setting is great, the service is great, the side dishes and little touches all wonderful (heck, i'd eat about anything as long as it was setup with that trio of duck fat fries) ... they even mix up great cocktails

I have to admit I was a little disapointed at the actual protein though

Went here a few years ago and it was very good. I don't know what it's like now. It had a nice view from the top of a hill.
