I'm thinking seriously about it, but really having trouble figuring out where to go to. Might stay in AZ and just go to Flagstaff. I've pretty much had it with Phoenix. I don't need a job and can't think of any other reason to live in a place like this. I have kids in school, but still in grade school. I'm getting older, so its now or never, I think.

I like Phoenix for the most part. But if I could live and work in a smaller community, such as Prescott or Greer, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I can't take the pay cut that would come with a move. There are lots of places I have thought about relocating to, but my friends and my favorite family members are here.

We are leaving and going to Chattanooga TN...we have spent the last year or so researching that area...great things coming to that area

I cannot wait to get back to the country roads~a city big enough with lots to do but one can also get out of all the hustle/bustle, not like here in Phoenix. Lakes etc...5 minutes away where ever you go there, housing is reasonable~and not to mention the terraine there.

I have had a great stay here in Arizona...just not for ME thats all

I just wanted to share my thoughts with those that may be thinking of also relocating~

Great point, Raya.

I've yet to find a place that is perfect for everyone. I chose Arizona, Tucson in particular, about twelve years ago mainly for the weather and the small town atmosphere. So far, I am very happy although I do miss the bodies of water you mentioned but not the humidity and the bugs that usually accompanies them.

The Best of Luck on your move.

What would be the major driving factors that are pushing you away? I'm just asking as I've alwasy been interested in Arizona...and SoCAL is too crazy to last forever, so when school's out...I may just jump! (got a while yet, still working on AA)

Very well put Bummer! They still won't let me give you reps and I've really 'spread them around' as they tell me to do...strange!

To each their own, I will and do agree with that Phoenix is just not for ME~i miss wide open spaces and too many other things to mention~Oh and i miss there being something different every day with the weather (i never thought i would say this) I miss thunder storms (real ones), i miss the big fluffy clouds, the fresh air~green...OMG i miss seeing green...and trees along the highways, roads~there i go again. I will stop there. Arizona has a lot of beauty~i will never say anything negative about it..again, to each their own.

I was just curious if anyone else out there would share their stories on why/when they are leaving Arizona...thats all
