The post about Wal-Mart selling beer reminded me of this. I saw on the news that the White Oak Station by Pinnacle will be selling alcohol to complement their restaurant services. Truly, Benton County is the wettest dry county ever.

I read it also, but I don't think it is for consuption off the premises and the hours are pretty restricted. yes, we are a very wet, dry county. I just wish I could give my tax $$s to Benton Co instead of Mo.

It amazes me Benton County even bothers to pretend to be dry anymore. It'd make a lot more sense (although it would probably make some Missouri and Washington county retailers very sad) to just remove that from the books and allow traditional liquor sales.

That Pinnacle Station is directly across from Cross Church too.
Does Ronnie Floyd know about this?

I agree but it won't happen for qutie some time. I have hreard there are some liqour store owners that will continue to control the licencing and laws regarding selling booze.

Just look to the Sharp county fiasco to see the future.

MO liquor distributors poured *major* dollars into getting it defeated there.
