Can anyone tell me what the weather has been like in Mountain Home ? The news here in Co. has shown a lot of rain and maybe tornadoes ! Is the weather you're getting typical for this time of year ? Thanks, we're planning on returning to the Mountain Home area in a couple of weeks.

Mountain Home, Arkansas (72653) Conditions & Forecast : Weather Underground

Scroll about halfway down the page, look at History & Almanac on the left side of the screen.

It's been really wet pretty continuously according to family that lives up there. Rain and storms are pretty typical in spring, this has just been a pretty steady stretch of storms and severe weather the past couple weeks. Tornadoes are still pretty rare, but do happen from time to time.

This is the most unstable time of the year for the midwest and southwest from the northern states clear down though AR, OK and Texas, but what has happened in the past few days is very unusual. It doesn't seem to have hit Mountain Home quite as bad as our area.
