Hi, folks.
Searching the forums provided interesting reading, but I didn't find any recent, helpful info. on any houses or apartments that might be available.
I'm familiar with the city park, as I have visited the ciy park church of Christ there, so I know that immediate area, and the main roads in town...so locations will need to be explained.
I'd like to know any info. on a good/inexpensive apartment (probably studio or 1BD) to rent or a house.
Also, would like to know of houses in town or very near that are for sale/good deal, especially for owner finance, easy qualify for 1st time buyer, etc.
Must be safe neighborhood.

forazw, as far as financing on houses, you probably need to contact a realtor in the area - they should be able to hook you up with a finance company that could help you as far as standard financing. On owner finance - good luck. The market is crashing and Arkansas still has a usury law even though people don't think there is. Beware. I seriously doubt you will find anyone who is a landlord through this board, since Clarksville isn't really a very large town to begin with. I'd contact a reputable realtor who perhaps knows of or manages property and take it from there....if you want to post an ad in the classifieds section of this forum at the bottom of the first page, please feel free, but we can't allow realtors to advertise in this particular (Arkansas) forum. Go with a major name and you should be okay - and good luck to you!
