I have to move to West Memphis for personal reasons, and frankly I am a bit scared. mod cut do tend to keep my eyes down and stay quiet and out of everybody's way and because of the way I am people in the South are really hostile to me. I am always the bad guy because I am quiet and different. I know West Memphis' history, and I am really scared; where are the safe, open-minded neighborhoods in this town? Understand, I don't want to knock West Memphis - every town has its good and bad areas, but I really need to know where to go. Thank you in advance.

You might like Marion better, just about 1 mile North of there. It's like Mayberry! All kinds of nice neighborhoods, apartments, people, things to do, etc. Not as run down as WM. Nice city!

What history does West Memphis have other than the West Memphis 3? If you're worried about the town because of some murders that happened two decades ago then I don't know what to tell you. Also, I have a sneaking suspicion that, if in fact southerners are acting hostile towards you on a regular basis, it's not because you are quietly minding your own business but instead are somehow doing something to antagonize a wide variety of people who happen to live down here.
