Does anyone know how I can search on the internet for real estate in a specific neighborhood or to define x-miles from this map push-pin?

I would like to search for real estate within a 1 mile square, and want to do the searching on the internet.

Thanks for your suggestions.

The only way I'm aware of is by zip on realtor.com, although some of the local agencies have "map it" features that show their listings on a map of the city or county and we can't list private agencies on here (and realtors are not to solicit behind the scenes). Some of the properties with realtor.com have the Map It feature as well.

I still believe in the Realtor connection. Although you may think you know the neighborhood, they are a vast source of information on current trends...I totally believe they are well worth the money.

Default Real Estate Searches

I am not aware of any MLS services where you can name a street and do a search within a certain radius. Not sure where you are looking but you might google EZ MLS and try their web site. It covers a lot of Arkansas cities and has pretty good search criteria categories. You will still have to have some idea about the area/streets you want to check out.
Some individual Realtor web site offer a map charting all their listings.
Sam is correct about there being some things you still need a Realtor for.
The Arkansas Realtor's Association site can help you locate qualified help in the area you are interested in.
