We too were on a tight budget. We replaced a total of 8 windows for around $2300.

We are happy with them thus far, but winter might tell a different tale. We could feel LOTS of air before we had them replaced, so we'll see soon enough.

They were quick (in and out in one day), efficient, clean and they look GREAT!!

Don't think you are going to get your windows for 189 though. That is where the price STARTS.

$10 per window extra if replacing metal windows
$59 per window extra if you want the 'value plus' package which includes screens, double locks, low-e glass, argon gas, foam insulation on Jambs, and lifetime glass breakage warranty.

We had 3 sets of 'double windows', that would've cost us the 189 each, so we opted for the '2 lite slider' for 329, which saved us a few dollars.

Overall, they look TONS better than what we had, and we're satisfied with what we got for the money.
