Prayers don't accomplish anything.
Only knowledge and equipment will help.
Let me just say one thing once electric is restored they got to clean the coils pipes what ever to even start it back up. How can you clean off saltwater from them if you have to keep pouring to keep them cool we have to pray to keep them cool long enough to get as many as possible out of the area basically. I think 3 or 4 were shut down of the 8 there before the tsunami, and one of those is unstable perhaps 2 or 3 were shut down I'm unsure. It's not looking good at all.

I have to say they are good at irrigation they do need water for those rice patty fields so who knows if anyone can do it I guess they can. Prayers going their way.
Yes, send money to all these donation organizations that miraculously pop up now asking for money so they can continue their bureaucratic nightmare and give those who need it about 1/10 of the money you send them.

Yes, lets pray for some imaginary god that doesnt exist and won't help. Instead of actually doing something.
Stop praying and donate and to a charity that directly helps Japanese, not one that funnels some money to a front (religious) group who sees the tragedy as an opportunity to spread their religion. There's a religious group or more doing the same in Japan, so be careful who you donate to. I'm not sure about Red Cross and wouldn't donate to the Salvation Army.

A Chinese proverb came to my mind as I read the title of this thread: 唯恐天下不乱.
唯 = only
恐 = fear
天 = the sky
下 = under
不 = not
乱 = mess
only fear under the sky is not a mess => wish this world was in disorder
