A man has committed suicide by jumping from the world's tallest skyscraper in Dubai, according to its owner.

The man, in his 20s, fell from the 147th floor of the 2,717ft (828m) Burj Khalifa, landing on a deck on the 108th floor, local media reported.

Bummer. Only 39 floors, and he was finished. He could have done better than that in Cleveland.

A person would die jumping from the 9th floor of a building, let alone 39 floors.

A man jumped from the roof of a 40 story building next to the one where I reside a few months ago. A woman jumped from the 5th story of her apartment a few days ago but fell on a car but she survived. A woman once fell out of a first story window while in the "act"??? Normal news stories here in Dubai. Sometimes the labourers run onto oncoming traffic so that their families can be paid "blood money" for the death.
