An absolute miracle that an 8.6 magnitude earthquake in the ocean did not result in devastating tsunamis.
Otherwise, the doomsday cults would have had a ""field day"" over this one.

Yeah seriously, and the global warming people who think that the climate affects earthquakes lol. Either way, they got very lucky the way the plates shifted, it would have been devastating there, so thank god nothig happened.
