I heard most will not marry a person that doesnt believe in god
any atheists married to a filipina?
I know other asians are not worried so much about the other being a christian
especially the Chinese, Vietnamese, Lao, Thai , etc
before I answer, please note:
1) Plenty of people who believe in God are not attached to an organized religion
2) Most people in the world who believe in a God are not Christian.
Now thats out of the way..
Some of the very-educated Filipinas marry "out" - agnostics, atheists, Jews - you name it.
I'm an atheist, and have dated a couple Filipinas who were also atheists.
I also dated a Filipina who was slacker-Catholic (only went to church a couple times a year on high holidays, hadn't ever really read the bible, and disobeyed much of it).
There are some who wouldn't mind for sure ( ones who didn't grow up in a religious environment ). If it's me, I would not as I would want my children to grow up knowing God, that's why even if I married a non Filipino, I still chose someone from a Catholic country.
Filipinas from the Philippines or Fil-Ams? I've found that American Filipinas are much less religious than their reputation or numbers would suggest. Shouldn't be that difficult to find one who's okay with marrying a non-religious man.
As a Filipina, I'll chose a man whom I can relate to. God fearing is additional of course, even if not religious as long as he is god-fearing. Well same religion is advantage. No need for adjustment or argument.

I agree... No adjustment or argument any more if a couple has the same religion.
When I met my in laws ( non Filipinos ) they said they were glad that I am also Catholic like their son ( they were both worried at first because they thought I was buddhist when they heard their son's fiancee is an Asian... they were glad that I am a Catholic so we both have the same religious beliefs and practices because it will be hard to deal with each other and raise our children if I had a different religion which I definitely agree.
I am glad Philippines is a catholic country.
