Good place and you don't feel bad. It's really nice to go there but sometimes you will face issue in language.

What language issues did you have?

English is one of India's official languages, and where there are parts of India where Hindi, for example, is used more than English. I didn't find Goa to be one of those areas. Most people there spoke a lot of English, particularly since it's so popular as a touristic destination.

India has 22 major languages and several hundred dialects.

In the southern part of India Hindi is less used - you'll find more Tamil, Malayam, Telagu, Kannada.

Which makes English kind of a lingua franca that can be used there, especially in places like Goa.
