I will be traveling to the Philippines for the holidays. I would like to buy my girlfriend's family a Zojirushi rice cooker for Christmas. I was thinking I may be able to find this brand at the Greenbelt Mall. But I am not 100% sure. Does anyone know if or how I can find out?

Cheers!

Since I'm in the Holiday spirit and there's a slight chance this isn't a troll, try contacting the company. I've even looked up the contact information for you.

Try Shoemart in Makati.

Sorry, it has been a while since I lived in the PI...it is now SM vs shoemart as when I was there:

I would do an online search for it, and maybe search images to find one. They really are a good brand. Many years ago I bought the same brand in a bread maker. Here is a link to the company:

You can buy it on Amazon & have it shipped directly to their home in the Philippines.

Thanks for all the help! After following up your suggestions, I did find one locally. I did consider getting one shipped from Amazon, but I felt I could run into too many problems with shipping. Mail and postage isn't like America. I asked the household here what the zip code is, and they went into a discussion figuring it out. Folk here just don't concern themselves with mail.

When you say you found one locally, do you mean locally as in the independent country of the Philippines (Manila is the capital of the Philippines) or in your home state of South Carolina (judging by your zip code)? How much did it cost? Was the product made in a U.S. territory?

According to Wikipedia, Philippines mains is 220 volts vs 120 for USA.
