Had a great time in Shanghai. I DID ride the Maglev. It only runs from the airport to a stop along Line 2. I'm told it saves an hour from your trip. If you have lots of bags, then riding the subway after a day's travel can be too much. Luckily, I travel light and rode the subway the whole way. Taking the bullet train to SuZhou provided about the same level of interest. Almost like being on a taxing airplane.
