Oh to be out of PRC and I can get free access to the internet again. They great internet wall of china doesn't like New York Times.

I just recall days, and days, and days of haze in Singapore, all by forest fires in Java, etc. The haze literally followed us up to Thailand.

How far up in Thailand? Chiang Mai gets if from Myanmar, I believe...I would imagine Phuket must from Java? Bangkok?

A few years ago I took a cruise up from Singapore, it was with us until Koa Samui as I remember. North of that it was gone.
