The Taliban Promise to Protect Women. Here’s Why Women Don’t Believe Them.
Women fear return of Taliban, and old ways.
“From now on, you are our target,” the letter said, “and we will treat you like other Western slaves.”
The real problem with the Taliban is that they were inviting foreign militants (Al Quida) back in the late 90s. If they didn't do that, they would still be in power today. So yeah, unfortunately (for the people of Afghanistan, particularly the woman) peace talks are occurring with the Taliban and as long as an agreement is in place to not use it for a foreign base to launch the next 911, it will be signed. The government of Afhiganistan needs to learn how to fight on it's own.
Kurdish women fighters, I like that. Send them in hell yeah they are great fighters.
