Miami, FL planning to move to Taipei next fall. I have two little kids now so a little harder to do anything without planning first.

Easy to get into downtown Taipei. Much cheaper than Taipei though for a brand new work/live space with a Western amenity feel. Fluent English speaking building management educated in the West. Hokkaido is a 3.5-to-4 hour flight away.
What's the new cospace concept? Or is it the Wework building that you mention.

I came back to the states for ~1.5 yrs, and was actually ready to leave a year ago. Were you feeling the same?

It’s living and working in the same urban space for convenience and cost savings. Good for startups and entrepreneurs. Communal kitchen and large communal dining area. Hot desks for day trippers.

somewhat. I always feel a pull to go exploring but I've never really disliked it here in the US at all.

Just a note though: I never actually lived abroad, just traveled for months at a time. When we (the family) move to Taiwan next year it will be my first time with a permanent residence outside the US.

Perhaps, Hua Hin. Broadband is cheap and fast, healthcare is excellent, and it has its own expanding airport. More upscale than CM, almost to the point of snobbery. Some good beaches. The workspaces are kind of a running joke.
