Do you think Mandarin Chinese will overtake English as the most studied foreign language in Asia?

Much more likely that the use of cryptocurrencies (i.e. Global mass adoption) to be the norm in the next decade.

Have you heard of Pi Network before?

Hahaha nope, India is just as big a China and they use English among different Asian countries, English is also the language of choice, whereas with China only Chinese and overseas Chinese use the Chinese language.

Nope

English is the "Universal Language"

Mandarin or any Chinese dialect is useless unless your Chinese or live in China

Not quite, as there are many foreigners learning Mandarin as a result of China’s greater profile. I don’t expect it to overtake English though, as the language is too complex to make it practical.

How many Europeans or South Americans understand Mandarin vs. English?
That's your answer.

You know, 30% of Chinese don't even speak Mandarin. I think actually it's the Chinese that are learning English in school, and at an amazing rate.

If that's the case, then how come whenever I go to Thailand or South Korea, most locals/taxi drivers will talk to me in Chinese instead of English? That should indicate that knowledge of Chinese is pretty widespread in those countries.

What you are asking is basically: Will India speak Chinese and not English? Since India is the real population bomb on the continent and even if you take the whole of Asia bar China they won't come close to India's population. The answer is no though, can't see Indians switching to Chinese en masse soon.
