The interesting thing is that in the US until just recently the covid issue took such a political turn and the media were covering it like an internal political event.
What are you talking about, the US and especially Republicans has been blaming China from day 1. During spring it was so bad that some people started attacking Chinese physically.
And that is quite pathetic. No matter what, it is not Chinas responsibility to make sure Covid is controlled in America. Chinas responsibility is to make sure covid is controlled in China.
Did the US allow Chinese/UN experts to investigate cases in the US, including the origin? No. And will never.
It's unclear where COVID-10 originated. It could be Wuhan and I have no problem with that at all. However anyone who believes in science only believes in sufficient evidence.
On the other hand, it is perfectly true that the US is by far the worst epicenter in the world now. Had it originated in the US, no one would have noticed it because the (low level) healthcare system is such a big mess.
Ironically, that's exactly how PRC apologists and wumaos like you swirve. Your response to whatever **** China pulls is always "America does it" too.
The point clearly went above your head. The average american knows nothing about China. If the western world did control the pandemic, then they wouldn't care at all if China lied or not. They only care because they failed to contain it.
Talking about how China had much higher numbers, is a way to deflect blame and make themselves look less bad. However, it is wrong. Severall countries apart from China also managed to control Covid. If you mention New Zealand and Taiwan, then they will just say they are island nations. But Thailand and Vietnam are not, and they still did much better.
There are no excuses, America failed to contain covid and the main cause of that are American politicans, not Chinese politicans.
You totally don't get it. The average american knows nothing about China. If the western world did control the pandemic, then they wouldn't care at all if China lied or not. They only care because they failed to control it.

This goes way beyond the pandemic. Every time China is criticised for being a bully or for its horrific human rights track record, all PRC apologists like you do is attempting to rebut it with statements like America is also a bully, police brutality in America, likening what happened yesterday with what happened in Hong Kong in 2019, the Iraq War and whatnot. It's exactly the same with Russia's Soviet whataboutism, both today and during their Soviet days.

I read this mostly from Europeans, not Americans, and when we say Great Britain is also an island they would have other excuses like Britain is much more connected to the rest of Europe.
Neither Europeans nor Americans can accept the fact that you have failed on massive proportions.

They are pointing out a double standard where you only focus on human right abuses from China and ignore anything from other countries.
It shows that you don't actually care, you are just using them as a way to attack China. You have even admitted that you want China to return to communism and would laugh your ass off if Chinese were placed in concentration camps, so you definitely do not care.

Both do it.
In the US, it is a common argument by Republicans.

The thing is all you do is pointing out double standards instead of self-reflection.
And of course I only focus on huamn rights abuses in China because it might affect us. Human rights abuses in America a) do not affect me at all and b) are far less severe. To say less about human rights abuses in countries that have nothing to do with me.
