It is the same sort of fashion a color blind person gets when they dress themselves. Clothes might cover up the basics, but just don’t look or fit the way they should.
I'm sorry to say that I haven't seen much evidence of the "rapid fall of belief" in the DFW part of Texas. It is slow, although I think it is happening, if only because of the higher profile of atheism.
