How was he conceived? By magic? Or divine DNA?
I read somewhere that the Virgin Mary was a thinly disguised version of some older, much-beloved ancient goddess, I forgot who. It's all nonsense, pointing to the silliness of the human mind.
As Christianity grew and developed, the effort was to incorporate established beliefs into the new religion. It's a marketing ploy.
