I must say, I found an incredible post in the Christian sub-forum.

Yes, that was really something, all right. A decided improvement over most.

Thanks for pointing out the post. I seldom go their side, and would have hated to pass a smart post due to my feeling on what I see as their distorted view of reality. It shows you can not put all Christians in the same box.
I think most of the Christians I know in my personal life are close to the same as this person, and hope extreme “in your face” views of the conservative wing are a small segment of the religious.

Stirring waters is a sweetheart. I expect that from her. Now you do know that there are probably those on her end who are in the shadows doubting her salvation and I am betting someone is going to soon come in and tell her she has to "man up" and put those sleazy unbelievers in their place and to stop catering to their unbelief. lol Just watch.

That was a pleasant surprise and my friend Blue was completely supportive of it which I would expect from her. This demonstrates that there are some decent and tolerant Christians out there.

Well, that's a train wreck.

Sheps, it was predictable. There are some modern day Elijah's running about the place who feel it is their duty to preach fire and brimstone and tell people off about their "sins." They think they are doing the world a service.

It's too bad that such 'sweetheart' Christians are a minority. My fundamentalist cousin dislikes my atheism less than other Christians he thinks are wrong ("At least you're honest").
