Nope. Never.

Visited Hindu temples out of curiosity.
Visited mosques out of curiosity.
Visited mormon churches out of curiosity.
Nothing more. Just like I go to a zoo out of curiosity. Or a movie out of curiosity. Or Gettysburg Battlefield out of curiosity.

I like to learn, particularly about other cultures.

Again, no.

Buddhism does not teach a god concept. So that is simply part of Buddhism.
Two branches of christianity is still christianity.

I am only motivated to visit ancient Catholic Churches. I tried to see the Mormon Temple in DC, but you have to be a certified Mormon in good standing to get in. I have been to a synagogue one, but was not moved.

Non-Mormons are allowed to visit Mormon churches. Mormon temples are different.

On a side note, when you are driving counter-clockwise on the Capital Beltway around D.C., there is one spot where suddenly the Mormon Temple looms in front of you. There has been a long standing tradition to paint on a bridge going over the Beltway, with the Temple looming in the background, "Surrender Dorothy".

I cannot understand why people adopt or convert to other religions. If you believe in God why should the religion matter? Is it for the feeling of congregation? Sense of belonging?

The feeling of belonging is important for many atheists too.

In all fairness, all christian religions do not believe the same things.
