I am moving to Atlanta soon and I was wondering if there were any other realistic options for high-speed Internet service other than Comcast in the Buckhead/Lindbergh area.

I'm assuming someone provides DSL service, but I most likely won't have a phone line.

Are these my only two options, realistically speaking?

As a secondary question, does anyone use Roku with Comcast's low-end Internet service package (i.e. 1.5 Mbps download speed). For whatever reason, Comcast seems to have no in-between package; I either have to go with 1.5 Mbps download speed or I have to step up to 15 Mbps download speed. Roku's website says that ideal speed is around 2.5 Mbps, but minimal speed is 1.2 Mbps.

I run Netflix thru my RoKu box on 1.5Mb service on comcast and dont have a problem 99% of the time, sometimes and i have not done any ping tests my box buffer runs out, could be internet slowness. could be netflix, or comcast, but it rare that the buffer runs out. Few times is so bad i stop watching cause it has to keep stopping to re-buffer. From test I ran when i worked from home the slowness is in the 4-7pm time ranage. and sometimes in the 9-10pm (but not often).

a Non DSL/Cable option is Clear wireless internet.
