I got the questions from the sticky thread:

1. Budget--I make minimum wage, so really as cheap as possible. I'm open to roommates, provided I can find any. I'm also open to low-income housing, provided the neighborhood's not too dangerous.

2. House/Condo/Townhome?--Apartment. Even studio will do.

3. Employment Status(commute/work from home)--I'd be working within the city and/or within MARTA range.

4. Children(public school vs. private)--No children

5. Suburban or Urban lifestyle preference or a mix of the two--I guess a mix, but I'd prefer urban

6. Easy access to public transit, important or not? --I don't have a car, so public transport is a must. Cabs can get expensive.

7. Preferable demographics of desired neighborhood.--Liberal if al all possible, but I'll take conservative, provided it's not rabid.

I think my biggest obstacle (besides rent prices obviously), is my lack of confidence in finding work. If I can find work I'll be okay.

I work at an Ingles, and my first choice is to transfer to one with access to public transportation. I have extensive grocery and some janitorial exprerience, so how hard would it be to find a job in those fields in metro Atlanta?

Also, while I'd really like to move to Atlanta, I'd be open to moving somewhere with public transport between my apartment, work, and a MARTA bus/station.

Also if at all possible, I'd like to live somewhere where I don't have to fear walking outside for fear of being robbed/raped/murdered.
