Hi guys,

My sister just bought her dream wedding dress and it fits her perfect except that it has to be taken out a bit in the back and perhaps bustling the dress a bit.

We assume it'd be more expensive to get it done at the bridal shop we purchased her dress, so we're looking for a great seamstress who's experienced in wedding dress alteration.

Could anyone recommend us one in Duluth area? If the person is REALLY good, we're willing to drive a bit far though.

And given what I mentioned above, roughly how much would it cost to get it done?

Thanks so much guys!

TakeAhike, thanks for your response!

No as a matter of fact, we didn't - I guess we were only thinking about dry cleaners when we needed her dress cleaned after the wedding. We will definitely see if they do alteration, but I guess I'm just not so sure about their capabilities because it's not their expertise and it's a "wedding dress" we are talking about here, i.e. it cost us lots of $$ and scared someone might ruin it!

Thanks for your input though! We will def. check with our dry cleaners.
