1st floor--office, storage, gym

2nd floor--living space

(I would attach a garage if the property has the space)
One of these might work for you, Rocco.

My old yoga studio off Cheshire Bridge was pretty cool, too. Yoga Studio downstairs, apartment and art studio upstairs. Plus your neighbors were a hip-hop clothing store, a gay bar, an exotic dance club and a Waffle House. Ideal IMO.

All the necessities within walking distance. And in the old days you could stroll over to Happy Herman's for a Cuban after yoga class.

Actually, they were probably around during the Cuban missile crisis but they didn't close until 2010 or so. An Atlanta standby for a long time.

Yikes! My family moved to Atlanta in the early 70s. Bought a 4 bed 2 1/2 bath home in Marietta for around $50k!

I'd buy both Virginia Highland properties, as well as the Druid Hills property from my dad, do all the renovation that needs to be done, and maybe add a floor to all of them.

I'd live in the apartment I grew up in, and rent out all the others to pay for upkeep, property taxes, and hopefully some nice profit in there.
