Are you displaced due to hurricane Katrina!!!! I'm planning on moving to Stone Mountain, Georgia and I'm presently in Dallas, Texas but having mixed emotions because of what I'm reading about the crime in Stone Mountain. I have not even sent any resumes out for a job but hope it won't be that difficult. The only good thing out of this situation is I get to live in a home for 18 months without having to pay rent thru a program by HUD and it's not section 8. If your heart is set on moving there don't give up keep trying and see how it works out.

Have you tried websites such as monster.com or careerbuilder.com? You might have better luck with these.

Smile To heartbroken

Hi,
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. This is my first day here since Wednesday....
Yes, I am displaced due to Hurricane Katrina. I'm trying to find a permanent place to call home.
I haven't given up yet, this marks the beginning of another week, so I'll see what happens.

Good luck on moving to Atlanta.

Unemployment here is still higher then national average. I'd get a job first.
